GM Fishbowls

These buses came in many styles, and were purchased between 1966 and 1971.

The buses were, for the most part, equipped with GM's 6V71 engine,and the last 200 were fitted with the 8V71. All buses had a simple Transmission, with a even simpler gear selector...forward, neutran, and reverse.

The riding public loved these buses, and in fact, when they were delivered, there was actually a parade in town to celebrate the new arrivals!

This Fishbowl,1142 is done in the Model Cities scheme. it is at the old jail in town, probably on fifth avenue.
