I'm Shawn Bennear, the webmaster and the originator of the site. I take some of the photos on the site personally, and I'm the one who selects the pictures to use. It is my privilege to do this site, and I do enjoy it.
I was employed as a Motorcoach Operator for Holiday Coach Lines, and also was formerly a school bus Driver/Instructor for A.J.Meyers & the Seneca Valley School District in PA. But, I came back to Pittsburgh and am back with Myers.
This is my son, Jeremey, who is 20 and like his dad, likes buses too. He is currently working with me at A.J.Myers as driver of bus A-346.
This is Matt Witkowski, who, quite frankly knows the Port Authority system as good as I do. Matt takes excellent photos, and many of them grace these pages.
Matt is employed as a Coach Operator for Greyhound Lines.
Dave Davis comes to us from McCandless Township, PA. Dave is a excellent photographer, and you can see some of his pictures in various locations across the site.
Dave is employed as SENIOR (#1) Bus Driver for North Allegheny School District.
This is Patrick Rizzo. Patrick hails from Pittsburgh, and drives a motorcoach for Megabus. He is #6 driver. Talk about getting in at the right time! Patrick like to take lots of photos, and a TON of them are on this site. He also just got a "motherload" of pictures on E-bay, and a lot of those will wind up here too.
Eric Voigt lives in Pittsburgh, and is a avid transit fan, who someday plans to drive a bus for the Authority or someplace else. He is 14 and still attending high school. Eric make great looking folding bus models, and they can be seen here on Eric's page.
Maurice Dewberry also hails from Pittsburgh. He love buses and has a ton of knowledge on their workings. He is interested in starting a transit agency for the Pittsburgh area. His interest started as a young child riding the 86B with his Grandma, about a decade later he came up with a plan to start a new transit agency.
Jovan "Jonesy" Jones also hails from Pittsburgh, and is a transit fan of top caliber. In addition to helping contribute to this site, he also runs the Pittsburgh Transit Forum. His plan was to someday be a Port Authority operator
This is Ed Burik. Guess what he enjoys! Ed is a excellent photographer, also living in Pittsburgh. He used to drive for Lenzner coach line where I used to work at one time. He is also very good at paint schemes, and one of his was actually on a PCC trolley in the colorful days.
This is David Ford, He is 23 years old. "I've been a bus fan for as long as I can remember, my mom didnt drive so our only transportation was the bus, and there was just always something about buses that really caught my interest. I work as an EMT, i've been doing it for 5 years, i love helping people and that is what made me pick that profession. I live in Pittsburgh."
