The Neoplan Low Floor bus came to the Authority in 1999. The fleet numbers range from 5001-5160, most all of which are in service except for one, which was unfortunately burnt up (see roster page) However, now retirement is nearing and these are also starting to slowly disappear.

These buses are generally well recieved, and they are one of my favorites. The wheelchair ramp is the easiest one in the fleet to operate. The 5000 series buses are also very quick off the line, again due to the DD50 and the Allison 5 speed.
