The Port Authority ordered the MC9 highway coach for use on runs like the 16A, 21A, AV Flyer, and quite a few others. The luggage bays on these coaches were never used, but the drivers loved the buses for the ride. They were numbered the 1900 series and used numbers from 1930 through 1969

The first batch was from MCI, and their numbers were 1930- 1945 and were delivered in 1980.

The second batch, from TMC, were numbered 1950-1969 and were delivered in 1984.

They were powered by the Detroit Diesel 8V71 and had a Allison 4 speed.

Here are some of them running!
